CSCS Labourer / EPOS Fitter - Tewkesbury

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an EPOS Fitter to join our well-established client based in Tewkesbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a temporary to permanent position with a business specialising in retail installation projects across the UK.

As an EPOS Fitter, you will support the installation of EPOS systems within retail stores, working alongside engineers on projects nationwide. This role requires flexibility to travel and occasional overnight stays.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Skilled Labourer, Shop Fitter or Construction Labourer.

Rates of Pay:

• £14.50 per hour
• Temporary to permanent opportunity
• Once permanent, rate increases to £21.75 per hour when working between 10:00pm and 5:00am
• Expenses paid when permanent

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 10:00pm and 5:00am
• Flexibility required for travel across the UK
• Occasional nights away from home required

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an EPOS Fitter are:

• Assisting engineers on customer sites
• Installing EPOS systems within retail environments
• Carrying out site repairs and maintenance tasks
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Travelling to customer sites throughout the UK as required

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an EPOS Fitter, you will need:

• A valid Green CSCS Card
• A full UK Driving Licence
• Previous experience within construction, carpentry, electrical installation, shop fitting or a similar environment
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work away from home when required
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Training:

• Industry-related training provided
• Ongoing support and full training programme
• Health and safety guidance and site induction training
