CTO Quant Fund

Overview

As CTO you will lead the technology roadmap for a growing quant fund, collaborating with the CEO, CIO and research teams to architect and analyze automated trading algorithms. You will build and scale the firm’s infrastructure to support new and existing lines of business, and expand the proprietary research platform to cover more exchanges and products. This board-facing role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced, open‑source–driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement automated trading algorithms with cross-functional teams
• Build and scale the firm’s infrastructure to support multiple business lines
• Expand and enhance the proprietary research platform for additional exchanges, products and functionality
• Collaborate closely with CEO, CIO and research teams to align technical roadmap with business goals
• Provide technical leadership and governance to the board
• Oversee performance, reliability and security of trading systems
• Engage with trading vendors and exchange connectivity initiatives
• Report on technical strategy and progress to senior stakeholders

Key requirements

• Senior-level experience in a Quant Trading Fund or Prop Shop
• Educational level of a high achiever
• Experience with trading vendors
