Customer Delivery Driver -Permanent Immediate Start

Location: Stroud Delivery Office, GL6 6PZJob type: Permanent contract 9 months Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available. Join Royal Mail as a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) and become the face of our trusted service, delivering letters and parcels in Stroud. You'll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand.

You'll be required to work three in five Sundays at Stroud Delivery Office working between 09:00/15:00 and 11:30/17:30 What you'll doSort letters and parcels at the delivery officeDeliver post by van and on foot in your local areaBuild relationships with customersWork outdoors in all weathers You'll deliver more than just mail: exam results, birthday cards, business orders, and moments that matter.** It's not always easy - but it's always rewarding.

You'll need: A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessmentPhysically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbagsReliable and self-motivatedStrong organisation and resilience in a busy environmentCustomer-focused, with pride in delivering great service
