Our client is a well-established housing developer looking for a Customer Care Administrator to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract . This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team where you will play an important role in ensuring customers receive a professional and responsive service throughout the defects and warranty period.

You will be responsible for providing administrative and customer service support to the Customer Care Team, working closely with customers, contractors, site teams and internal departments to ensure issues are logged, progressed and resolved efficiently.

You will need to be highly organised, confident communicating with customers and contractors, and comfortable managing multiple tasks while maintaining accurate records. For this role duties will include: Acting as the first point of contact for customers reporting defects Responding to customer enquiries by telephone, email and internal systems Logging, monitoring and updating defects throughout the warranty period Arranging contractor inspections and remedial works Coordinating customer appointments and access arrangements Liaising with contractors, suppliers and site teams Monitoring contractor attendance and progress Keeping customer and defect records accurate and up to date Escalating complex or unresolved issues where appropriate Supporting the Customer Care Team with administration and reporting Ensuring customers are kept informed throughout the process Key

requirements

Previous experience in a busy administration or customer service role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Teams Good literacy and numeracy skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively Professional, helpful and empathetic approach to customer service Previous experience within new homes, housebuilding, housing or customer care would be advantageous Experience using a CRM system, ideally D365, would be beneficial Please note: due to the volume of applications, only successful candidates will be contacted.
