This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and enjoys working on high-profile, mission-critical systems. /p p br /p p Key Responsibilities /p ul li Monitor security alerts and events across enterprise environments usi strong ng Elas /strong tic a strong nd Spl /strong unk /li li Investigate, triage and respond to security incidents in line with established playbooks and SLAs /li li Perform threat hunting and proactive analysis to identify malicious activity. /li li Analyse logs from endpoints, networks, cloud services and security tools to detect suspicious behaviour /li li Escalate incidents where appropriate and work closely with engineering and incident response teams /li li Develop and improve SIEM detection rules and alert tuning to reduce false positives /li li Produce clear incident reports and maintain accurate documentation /li li Participate in the on-call rota and support major incident response when required /li li Contribute to the continuous improvement of SOC processes, tooling and operational procedures /li /ul p br /p p Skills Experience /p ul li Experience working withi strong n a 24/7 Security Operations Centre ( /strong SOC) or equivalent cyber security environment /li li Strong hands-on experience us strong ing Ela /strong stic and strong /or Sp /strong lunk for security monitoring and investigations /li li Good understanding of SIEM technologies, log analysis and threat detections /li li Knowledge of security frameworks such as MITRE ATT CK and the Cyber Kill Chain /li li Experience investigating phishing, malware, endpoint, identity and network security incidents /li li Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Active Directory and cloud environments (AWS, Azure or Microsoft 365) /li li Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure /li li Excellent written and verbal communication skills /li /ul p br /p p Essential Require /p ul li strong Active SC Clearance /strong /li li strong British National, with eligibility to obtain higher levels of UK security clearance /strong /li li Willingness to wo strong rk a 24/7 rotating shift pattern (4 days on rotation) /strong /li li Able to work from the London office as required /li /ul
