Data Analyst

Overview

In this role you will shape the centralized data analytics function for underwriting, pricing, and commercial teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional groups to design and run robust data pipelines that feed actionable insights.

You will analyze data to identify pricing and underwriting optimization opportunities and present findings to senior leadership. The position sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and AI readiness, contributing to smarter decision-making in a fast-evolving health insurance landscape.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on a roadmap to modernize a robust data environment supporting business success
• Design, build and maintain production-grade data pipelines (ETL) and data for the business
• Understand data relationships across processes and translate business needs into analytics
• Create and enhance reports, dashboards, and datasets (e.g., Power BI) for KPI review
• Analyze data to identify trends and optimization opportunities in pricing and underwriting
• Deliver data outputs for executive-level presentations
• Coordinate data projects across teams and manage stakeholder communications
• Support change management, quality, and risk in data initiatives

Key requirements

• 3+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in insurance or healthcare
• Proficient in Python (production-grade, maintainable) and SQL with optimization
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and data visualization tools (Power BI)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
