Data Analyst

p A leading ecommerce retailer is hiring a strong Senior Data Analyst /strong to help drive smarter, more commercially focused decision-making across the business. /p p br /p p This is a hands-on senior analytics role with leadership responsibility for a small team.

You’ll build and improve reporting, data models and dashboards, while also mentoring analysts and helping stakeholders turn data into practical business decisions. /p p br /p p strong Role: /strong Senior Data Analyst /p p strong Salary: /strong £60,000 - £65,000 /p p strong Location: /strong Hereford, hybrid working - 2 to 3 days per week onsite /p p br /p p strong What youll be doing /strong /p ul li Build and maintain complex data models, dashboards, reporting systems and automated analytics workflows. /li li Lead and mentor a small team of Data Analysts, providing technical guidance and support. /li li Turn large datasets into clear, actionable insights that improve commercial performance. /li li Lead cross-functional analytics projects and help uncover opportunities for optimisation. /li li Own the quality and consistency of reporting across the business. /li li Manage incoming data requests, prioritise effectively and delegate work across the team. /li li Improve BI tools, processes and reporting standards. /li li Work closely with the Data Science Manager on the wider analytics and data roadmap. /li /ul p br /p p strong What youll need /strong /p ul li Strong commercial experience within data analytics or business intelligence. /li li Excellent SQL skills with experience querying large-scale datasets. /li li Experience building dashboards, databases and reporting solutions. /li li Proven ability to translate data into actionable commercial insight. /li li Experience mentoring or managing junior analysts. /li li Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. /li li Good commercial awareness and the ability to understand wider business performance. /li li Experience working with cloud data platforms and modern BI tools. /li li Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities. /li /ul p br /p p strong Nice to have /strong /p ul li Experience with Google Cloud Platform. /li li Experience using Looker or Google Analytics. /li li Background within ecommerce, retail or another high-volume consumer environment. /li /ul p br /p p This role would suit an experienced Data Analyst who enjoys combining hands-on technical work with team leadership and wants to play a key role in how a data-driven ecommerce business makes decisions. /p
