Job Description Data Cabling Engineer PortsmouthLocation: Portsmouth working at sites across the UKJob Type: Ongoing contractVan and fuel card providedBauhaus Recruitment is looking for an experienced Data Cabling Engineer based in or around Portsmouth for an ongoing contract.
You will travel to different customer sites across the country. A company van and fuel card will be provided, so applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and be comfortable travelling and staying away when required.
Duties will include: Installing Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a cablingCable pulling, dressing and containmentTerminating data outlets and patch panelsTesting, labelling and fault-findingCabinet installations and tidy presentationWorking professionally on live customer sitesSupporting with general project dutiesRequirements: Previous data cabling experienceFull UK driving licenceCSCS or ECS card preferredOwn hand tools and basic PPEReliable, presentable and comfortable working with customersWillingness to travel throughout the UKFlexibility to stay away from home when requiredThis is a good opportunity for an engineer looking for consistent, ongoing work with transport and fuel covered.
