Data Centre Cabling Project Coordinator / Project Manager - Market Harborough - Permanent or contract Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Cabling Project Coordinator / Project Manager to oversee and coordinate cabling infrastructure projects within live, operational data centre environments.

The successful candidate must have previous hands-on experience coordinating data centre cabling projects, ideally within active network environments where careful planning, coordination and minimal disruption to existing infrastructure are essential.

Occassional travel to sites across Europe is needed. The role will be responsible for the overall coordination and successful delivery of cabling projects, ensuring that all project activities are properly planned, resources are available, materials are in place and all required documentation and project paperwork are accurate and up to date.

This individual will act as the central point of coordination between project teams, engineers, contractors, suppliers, clients and other stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with agreed timescales and requirements.

Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Management Oversee the day-to-day coordination and delivery of data centre cabling projects. Coordinate all project activities, ensuring work is planned and delivered in accordance with agreed programmes and deadlines.

Act as the main point of contact for project-related matters, liaising with internal teams, clients, contractors and other stakeholders. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues and proactively implement solutions.

Ensure all project activities are properly coordinated within live data centre environments and that disruption to existing network infrastructure is minimised. Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates.

Resource & Workforce Management Ensure sufficient engineering resources are allocated to each project and available when required. Coordinate engineers, installation teams and subcontractors to ensure work is appropriately planned and delivered.

Monitor resource requirements throughout the project lifecycle and identify any potential shortfalls. Ensure the workforce has the necessary information, access, equipment and support to complete the work. Materials & Equipment Coordination Ensure all required cabling materials, consumables, equipment and tools are identified and available ahead of scheduled works.

Coordinate with procurement teams and suppliers to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time. Track material requirements and availability to avoid delays to project delivery. Identify and resolve any material shortages or supply chain issues.
