Demolition Contracts Manager

Job Description The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Demolition Contracts Manager to join our growing team and take responsibility for the successful delivery of demolition projects from pre-start through to completion.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Contracts Manager with a strong background in demolition, deconstruction and site operations who can confidently manage multiple projects, lead site teams and ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

The Role As Demolition Contracts Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of demolition projects and act as a key link between clients, site teams, subcontractors and senior management.

Your responsibilities will include

Managing demolition contracts from pre-construction through to final handoverOverseeing multiple sites and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitablyReviewing programmes, RAMS, demolition methodologies and project documentationManaging Project Managers, Site Managers, Supervisors and subcontractorsMonitoring project costs, variations, labour, plant and overall commercial performanceAttending client, progress and pre-start meetingsMaintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and other stakeholdersEnsuring compliance with company procedures, current legislation and industry best practiceWorking closely with Health & Safety teams to maintain the highest standards across all projectsIdentifying and resolving operational issues before they impact programme or costSupporting tender handovers and ensuring a smooth transition from estimating/pre-construction into deliveryProviding regular project and commercial updates to senior managementAbout You We are looking for someone with: Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager role within the demolition industryStrong technical knowledge of demolition methods, sequencing and site operationsExperience managing complex and/or high-value demolition projectsExcellent knowledge of health, safety and environmental requirementsStrong commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets and variationsThe ability to manage multiple contracts and site teams simultaneouslyExcellent communication, leadership and client-management skillsA proactive approach to programme, risk and problem solvingFull UK driving licenceRelevant qualifications such as CCDO, SMSTS, CSCS, NEBOSH or equivalent industry qualifications would be advantageous.
