Design Coordinator

Design & Project Coordinator Stoke on Trent (Onsite) Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm Are You a Kitchen, Bathroom or Interior Designer Looking for a New Challenge? Safer Hand Solutions are working in partnership with a growing, family-run business that specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke fixtures and fittings for commercial and retail environments.

We are looking for a Design and Project Coordinator to join a busy and supportive team. This role would suit someone with experience in kitchen design, bathroom design, interior design, fit-out, construction products or a similar environment who is looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role As a Design Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly from design approval through to manufacture and installation. You will be the link between clients, suppliers, manufacturers and installation teams, ensuring designs are accurate, changes are communicated effectively and projects stay on track.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with drawings, coordinating multiple projects and taking ownership of their work. Key Responsibilities Review drawings, plans and technical specifications. Coordinate projects from design approval through to installation.

Liaise with clients, suppliers, manufacturers and installation teams. Manage design revisions and ensure everyone is working from the latest information. Ensure all project details are accurate before production begins. Obtain approvals and provide final production sign-off.

Monitor project progress and help ensure deadlines are achieved. Resolve project queries and issues efficiently. Maintain accurate project documentation and records. About You We would love to hear from candidates with experience in: Kitchen Design Bathroom Design Interior Design Commercial Fit-Out Construction Products Furniture or Joinery Design Project Coordination Technical Design You will ideally have: Experience reading and interpreting drawings, plans or specifications.

Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. A customer-focused approach. Good IT and administration skills. A proactive and organised mindset. Experience using CAD or other design software would be advantageous but is not essential.
