We're looking for a number of reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) Drivers across all shifts to join our busy potato packing facility during the Christmas production period .
This is a fixed-term opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys being part of a hardworking team. Contract: October 2026 to Mid-January 2027 opportunities for permanent roles for the right candidates in various fields.

Shift: 4 on, 4 off ORDay Shift A Pattern (Week 1: Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed & Week 2: Sun, Mon, Tues)OR B Pattern (Week 1: Thurs, Fri, Sat & Week 2: Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat)Night Shift A Pattern (Week 1: Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed & Week 2: Sun, Mon, Tues)OR B Pattern (Week 1: Thurs, Fri, Sat & Week 2: Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat)Hours : Day Shift - 6am to finishNight Shift 6pm to finishPay: Days Shift £14.61Night Shift - £16.44Overtime: Opportunities availableKey ResponsibilitiesOperate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
Transport potato products around a site for storage and then distribution to customers. Load and unload lorries via ramps and despatch bays. Complete daily forklift safety checks and report any defects. Follow all health and safety, food safety, and hygiene procedures.
Assist with general warehouse and factory duties when required. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment. About YouYou'll have: A valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS or equivalent) or if recently expired potential opportunity to refresh your licence with an inhouse certification.
Experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. A strong commitment to health and safety. Good communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work shifts and additional hours during peak periods.
A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team. Experience within the food manufacturing industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
