Youll join a fast-paced Agile delivery team, designing and building secure AWS infrastructure, automated deployment pipelines and shared platform services for high-profile UK Government and Defence projects. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone experienced in building new infrastructurenot solely maintaining existing environments.
Key responsibilities Design, build and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructure Create automated CI/CD pipelines Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform Build and operate platforms for containerised applications Support software deployment, monitoring and operational performance Lead technical delivery throughout the full project lifecycle Advise customers on AWS architecture and technology choices Manage senior stakeholder relationships and key project deliverables Mentor engineers and support junior team members Promote Agile best practices, including Scrum and Kanban What were looking for Strong commercial AWS experience Proven experience building new cloud infrastructure Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation and containerisation Experience with technologies such as Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes Good understanding of AWS security principles and secure deployment practices Experience delivering within Agile teams Ability to lead technical solutions and take ownership of delivery Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skills Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers Security requirements Applicants must: Be a British citizen Have lived permanently in the UK for the last five years Be eligible to obtain UK security clearance Interested?
