DevOps Engineer – Salesforce Rate: £550-650 per day -Inside IR35 Contract: 12 months Start Date: ASAP Clearance: Active Security Clearance required Location: Remote/Hybrid The Opportunity I'm currently recruiting for a Security Cleared DevOps Engineer to join a major public services transformation programme on a 12-month contract.
You'll be responsible for designing, building and maintaining an end-to-end Salesforce CI/CD ecosystem, developing automated pipelines to support reliable, scalable releases from development through to production. Key Responsibilities Design, build and maintain automated Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
Implement scratch-org-based validation workflows and automated testing. Develop semantic-release-driven packaging and deployment processes. Automate environment configuration and management. Integrate regression testing using Provar.
Develop custom Salesforce CLI plugins, including UI automation using Puppeteer. Manage Salesforce configurations that cannot be accessed through standard APIs. Improve deployment reliability, scalability and release efficiency across environments.
Essential Skills & Experience Strong experience with Salesforce application implementation and configuration . Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD . Experience working with AWS and Terraform . Proven experience building and maintaining automated deployment pipelines.
