DevOps Engineer

Overview

In this role you will design and implement an enterprise-wide DevOps strategy to support an ambitious investment firm. You will be part of the Infrastructure Team, shaping Azure and cloud infrastructure to meet current and future business needs. The role focuses on delivering scalable DevOps solutions in a financial markets context, enabling efficient release pipelines and reliable operations. Responsibilities

• design and implement the enterprise-wide DevOps strategy
• work within the Infrastructure Team to support Azure-based infrastructure
• drive Azure landscape transformation to meet business objectives
• ensure solutions align with current and future business needs
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust CI/CD pipelines and automation

Key requirements

• background in Banking/ Financial Markets/Investment Banking
• experience with Azure DevOps and cloud infrastructure
• proficiency with IaC (Terraform)
• CI/CD and version control (Git)
• automation/configuration tooling (Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Go)
• containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• monitoring/logging (Splunk, Prometheus, Datadog)
• API Gateways and IAM familiarity
• SQL experience
• London-based with right to work in UK
• noBanking/Financial Markets/Investment Banking background is essential
