Lead the Digital Shift – Empower Staff Through Smarter Training. Are you an experienced and motivated Digital Systems Trainer to join the core Connect Programme team at ExtraCare. This pivotal role is responsible for identifying the digital training needs across all roles within the Charity (excluding the Retail subsidiary), with a focus on Housing and Asset Management systems.
The postholder will lead the design and delivery of tailored training programmes—both in-person and digital—working in collaboration with subject matter experts to ensure a consistent and effective rollout. You will support system testing to build robust knowledge, enabling you to create clear, engaging training guides and interactive resources that embed learning and drive confident system use.
This role is key to the successful adoption of new digital systems and ways of working, supporting colleagues through a period of transformational change. You will help inspire and equip staff to deliver high-quality services and unlock the full benefits of our digital investment.
Travel to ExtraCare locations will be required to provide hands-on support and training where needed. Location: Head office at Binley, Coventry, CV3 2SN (with regular travel across all locations) Job type: Fixed-Term contract until October 2028 Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £35,000 per annum
About you
Ability to evaluate learning programmes and adapt as necessary to ensure best possible outcome. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to plan effectively in advance and the flexibility to respond positively to immediate issues.
Excellent and proven interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills with all levels of staff. Effective self-management and the ability to work on your own initiative, the post holder will be able to develop and implement training and development programmes of significant importance, with effective evaluation techniques.
