Document Controller

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Document Controller to join the delivery team on a circa £50m high-end hotel refurbishment project in Bank, Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all project documentation through Procore, ensuring accurate control, distribution and tracking of drawings, technical submissions and project information. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the project's Procore document control system.
• Control the issue, receipt and distribution of drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, RFIs and technical submittal trackers.
• Coordinate document submissions and approvals between consultants, subcontractors and the project team.
• Ensure all project information is correctly filed, updated and accessible.
• Monitor outstanding submissions and proactively chase approvals.
• Support the collation of O&M manuals, as-built drawings and handover documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project document control procedures. Requirements
• Strong Procore experience is essential – must be confident using the platform independently from day one.
• Minimum 5 years' document control experience within construction.
• Previous experience on major refurbishment, high-end fit-out, hotel or commercial projects.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, technical submissions and design coordination.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment.
