Document ControllerWPS have an opportunity for a Document Controller to join our Planned Maintenance team, supporting the delivery of social housing planned works projects across the West Midlands. Based in the office, you will play a key role in managing and controlling project documentation across multiple live contracts, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and accessible to project teams.
This role would suit an experienced Document Controller or Administrator with strong organisational skills and experience working within construction, maintenance or social housing environments. Key ResponsibilitiesManage, control and maintain project documentation across multiple planned works contractsEnsure all documentation is correctly stored, issued and updated in line with company proceduresDistribute controlled documents to internal teams, clients and supply chain partnersMaintain accurate document registers and filing systemsSupport project and site teams with document queries and information requestsEnsure compliance with document control processes and audit requirementsAssist with reporting and tracking of project documentation statusWork closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and commercial teamsAbout YouPrevious experience in a Document Controller or project administration roleExperience working across multiple contracts or projectsBackground within construction, maintenance or social housing desirableStrong organisational skills and attention to detailConfident managing high volumes of documentationExcellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)Clear and confident communicator, able to liaise with internal and external stakeholdersAble to work independently in a busy office environmentWhat's On OfferStable, office‐based role within planned maintenanceOpportunity to work on long‐term social housing programmesSupportive team environment with clear processesCompetitive salary and benefits packageGiven the nature of this position, you will need to undergo a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) at offer stage.
