A well-established secondary school in Woolwich is seeking a proactive and skilled DT Technician to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time, permanent role supporting the Design & Technology department. About the Role As a DT Technician, you will assist the department in preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and supporting teaching staff to ensure safe and effective lessons.
Your role is vital in enabling students to engage fully with practical DT lessons. Key Responsibilities
- Preparing resources and materials for lessons
- Maintaining and organising workshop equipment and tools
- Supporting teachers during practical lessons
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assisting with department administration and stock management Experience and Qualifications
- Previous DT technician or workshop experience desirable
- Good practical skills and knowledge of tools and materials
- Understanding of health and safety procedures
- Organised, proactive, and reliable
