We are currently looking for an experienced Dumper Driver to join a long-term civil engineering project in the Suffolk area. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced Dumper Driver looking for consistent, long-term work on a busy site.
The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a dumper safely and efficiently, supporting the wider groundworks and civils team. Duties will include: Operating a dumper on site Moving and distributing soil, stone, aggregates and other materials Working alongside Groundworkers and machine operators Supporting excavation and trenching works Loading and unloading materials safely Carrying out daily machine checks Working safely around other plant, machinery and site personnel Following site instructions and health & safety procedures Assisting with general site duties when required Requirements Previous experience operating a dumper on civil engineering or groundworks projects Valid CPCS or NPORS card Relevant dumper category/ticket Good understanding of site health & safety Reliable and hardworking attitude Able to work as part of a team Good communication and awareness when working around other plant and personnel Previous experience working on large civils, infrastructure, utilities or earthworks projects would be advantageous.
