Proven commercial experience working as a Data Architect within the Defence space. Active DV Clearance. Strong AWS data engineering experienceHands-on Apache NiFi expertiseExperience delivering secure ETL/ELT and data integration pipelinesAbility to lead technical delivery teams and mentor engineersStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAWS data platforms and secure engineeringApache NiFi pipeline development and supportAPI, file-based, legacy and bespoke integrationsData mapping, transformation and validationCI/CD, DevSecOps and release managementTesting (unit, integration, performance and security)Monitoring, logging, alerting and operational supportNice to have: AWS certificationTerraform / Infrastructure as CodeContainerisation and deployment automationSecure cross-domain data transfer experienceService transition / handover experienceHays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
