C£60,000 Avonmouth MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join a modern Energy from Waste facility in Avonmouth.

This role will involve leading the electrical, control and instrumentation maintenance function, ensuring maximum plant availability, planning and delivering maintenance activities, and supervising a team of technicians within a highly regulated process environment.

As a (EC&I) Engineer, you will be responsible for: * As an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer, you will be responsible for: * Leading the Electrical, Control & Instrumentation maintenance function across the Energy from Waste plant. * Planning, coordinating and delivering preventative and reactive maintenance activities to maximise plant availability. * Managing planned outages and supporting unplanned shutdowns to minimise downtime. * Maintaining and fault-finding on HV/LV electrical systems, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), instrumentation and associated plant equipment. * Supervising Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians, apprentices and specialist contractors. * Managing the EC&I workshop and ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and within budget. * Other duties as required To be considered for this role you should have: * ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline. * Experience working within Energy from Waste, power generation, process manufacturing or another heavy industrial environment. * Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, instrumentation, control systems and preventative maintenance techniques. * Experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). * Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) such as Siemens, Valmet or similar.
