Economics Teacher - Croydon Secondary School - Shape Young Minds Are you an inspiring Economics Teacher with a passion for igniting economic curiosity in young people? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Economics Teacher to join our high-achieving Social Sciences department at , a thriving secondary school in Croydon.

As an Economics Teacher at our school, you will have the opportunity to teach Economics across Key Stages 4 and 5, fostering a love of learning and developing students' understanding of the economic forces that shape our world.

What we are looking for in an Economics Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Economics or a related field. Experience teaching Economics at the secondary level. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Economics.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for Economics and a commitment to inspiring students. A creative and engaging teaching style. The successful Economics Teacher will: Plan and deliver high-quality Economics lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.

Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore economic concepts and develop their analytical skills. Assess and monitor student progress in Economics , providing constructive feedback and support.

Contribute to the development of the Economics curriculum and departmental resources. Stay up-to-date with current economic trends and incorporate real-world examples into your teaching. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Economics teaching.
