Electrical Assembler

An established engineering firm based in Gloucestershire is seeking experienced Electrical Assemblers and Panel Wirers to join their team on a long-term contract basis. This position offers an immediate start, highly competitive overtime rates, and a genuine opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Assembly: Executing high-quality electrical assembly and panel wiring. Control Panels: Building and wiring complex control panels. Technical Assembly: Hand soldering, crimping, and using small hand tools. Schematics: Reading and accurately working from electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Skills & Experience Required: Proven Background: Previous experience as an Electrical Assembler, Panel Wirer, or Electrical Technician. Core Capabilities: Strong, hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, and tool handling.

Precision: The ability to work accurately to a high standard within a manufacturing/engineering environment. Logistics: Due to the site location, your own reliable transport is required. Benefits & Hours: Standard Rate: £19.26 per hour.

Overtime Rate: £28.88 per hour. Payment Options: Both Self-Employed and PAYE rates are available. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (38-40 hour standard week).
