The roleAs an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be at the heart of developing, delivering, and supporting radiometric characterisation and alarm systems across the UK and internationally.

Day-to-day, you'll Develop and verify technical solutions, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standardsLead investigations and drive design improvements across projectsCollaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to manage specifications and deliverySupport project execution and mentor junior engineersPromote engineering excellence, health and safety, and cultural change across the businessThis is a full-time role with a 37-hour working week, based at one of our key locations Moor Row, (Cumbria) Warrington (Cheshire), Leicester (Leicestershire) or Bristol.
Hybrid working patterns are available, with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office. Essential experience of the Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer: Working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams across varied project typesCommunicating effectively with internal and external stakeholdersDelivering systems input and providing post-installation or third-line technical supportLiaising with customers and suppliers on-site for testing, installation, and commissioningBackground in EC&I, Physics, or Radiometric, with experience in control systems and analogue/digital electronicsQualifications for the Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer: Engineering degree (or equivalent) in electronics, control and instrumentation, or a related disciplineChartered Engineer status or actively working towards itSecurity ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
