Job Description Job Reference: 1267 Job Title: Electrical Day Shift Engineer Salary: £48,000 per annum Location: Crawley Job Type: Technical / Engineering Working Hours: Continental Day Shift 7am to 7pmJob Summary Were looking for an experienced and proactive Electrical Shift Engineer to join a busy engineering team working within a high-end commercial environment in Crawley.
The successful candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background and previous experience working within a commercial environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the building's electrical systems and services are maintained to a high standard.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the site. Respond promptly to electrical faults, breakdowns and reactive maintenance requirements. Carry out routine inspections and ensure plant and equipment are operating effectively.
Fault-find and diagnose electrical issues. Support the wider engineering team with day-to-day building services requirements. Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures. Participate in the 1 in 4 call-out rota.
RequirementsElectrical engineering background. Previous experience within a commercial or high-end environment. Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of an established engineering team.
