Electrical Engineer

Overview As an Electrical Engineer in Building Services, you will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical systems for iconic projects within a collaborative MEP team. You'll work across disciplines to apply UK codes and develop innovative solutions, using BIM and design tools to support decarbonisation and modern infrastructure.

You will collaborate with colleagues across Croydon, St Albans, and London offices to ensure high-quality, deliverable designs. This role offers hands-on design, growth through training, and opportunities to impact public and private sector schemes.

Pay / Benefits hybrid work options flexible work arrangements competitive compensation and benefits professional development opportunities work with diverse and global teams equal opportunity employer Responsibilities Support multiple projects and teams through design and delivery across project phases Tackle specific design tasks under guidance of senior engineers Collect and correlate engineering data using established procedures Perform detailed or routine calculations and analyses Propose approaches to solve new problems and identify discrepancies in results Guide trainee engineers and support technical proposals Contribute to 3D and BIM capabilities development Work within agreed timeframes and collaborate with cross-office resources Key requirements Knowledge and experience of electrical building services calculations and design Strong motivation and ability to learn new concepts and design tools Effective written and oral communication skills Experience in building services electrical engineering design including specification writing, calculations, and development Familiarity with UK codes and practices BSc or BEng in Engineering (or MEng) with accreditation, plus professional registration pathway BPSS/SC clearance preferred quick learner effective communicator team collaboration electrical building services design calculations and specification writing Autodesk Revit
