We are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join an established engineering team at a prestigious, large-scale government facility in Fareham. You'll be joining a close-knit team of three engineers on a major contract that commenced in December, with an initial three-year term and the potential for a further two-year extension.

The Role As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining the electrical building services across a large, professional facility.

Your responsibilities will include

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. Fault finding, diagnosing and repairing electrical systems. Maintaining lighting, emergency lighting, distribution boards and electrical infrastructure.

Completing electrical testing, inspections and remedial works within your competency. Supporting the maintenance of mechanical and general building services where required. Responding to breakdowns and ensuring minimal disruption to building operations.

Working alongside two other engineers to maintain high engineering standards. Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations. Completing maintenance reports and updating site documentation.

Liaising professionally with site management and building occupants. What We're Looking For Qualified Electrical Engineer with relevant electrical qualifications. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations desirable. Previous experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
