Shift: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 1:30pm (37.5 hours per week) + On-Call + Overtime Available

Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

A rare opportunity has become available for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business that continues to invest heavily in its people, equipment, and engineering infrastructure. This role offers the chance to become the sites electrical specialist, working within a highly automated production facility while developing into a senior technical position through structured succession planning.

The successful candidate will join a close-knit engineering team and work across a wide range of automated manufacturing equipment. You will be responsible for electrical fault-finding, planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response, continuous improvement projects, and supporting the development of engineering and production teams across site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Minimum Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Hands-on experience carrying out planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills on industrial production machinery.
• Experience working with three-phase systems, motors, sensors and control panels.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• PLC fault finding, modification or programming experience.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience working as an Electrical Specialist or Senior Engineer.
• Ex-Forces engineering background.
