Electrical Maintenance Engineer

ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - LEICESTER (LE1) - LONG-TERM CONTRACT We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer for a static site-based role in Leicester, starting Monday 9th November 2026, running until May 2027.

Duties will include: Carrying out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance. Diagnosing electrical faults and completing repairs. Supporting the safe restoration of services. Undertaking routine inspections and testing.

Maintaining accurate maintenance, compliance and job records. Liaising with the site team and contractors, escalating any safety-critical issues.

Requirements

Relevant electrical qualifications Current 18th Edition required Previous experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial environment. Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently on a static site.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (40 hours per week, 1 hour unpaid break). Pay rates: £25.00 per hour - Umbrella PAYE (£19.19 per hour - PAYE equivalent)Important: This role must be paid via an umbrella PAYE arrangement.
