Job Description Our client is a very successful manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Electrical Maintenance Supervisor. Salary £65K - £70K Neg + BonusWe are seeking an experienced electrical bias maintenance engineer to manage & control all maintenance and CAP-ex project activities at a large heavy industry processing plant near Croydon.

The Role

The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all planned & reactive maintenance activities and some CAPEX project work. Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;Maintain and develop the existing CMMSManagement & control of a small team of maintenance engineers and also external contractorsPlan, manage and control all maintenance activities and engineering projectsEffective Budget and CAPEX Project managementMonitoring, sourcing and ordering spare and replacement partsEnsure adequate staff training, recruitment and disciplinary needs are metAdopt a continuous improvement approach and help to deliver efficiency and cost savings where possibleEnsure compliance with all legal and HSE requirementsProvide 'Hands-on' assistance with electrical and mechanical engineering maintenance and repair of plant and machinery.

Candidate: You will be an experienced electrical maintenance supervisor / manager with previous experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector e.g. chemical plants, plastics, metals, quarry or recycling. You will have at least 5 years management /supervisory experience and you must me confident in leading a small team of engineers and external contractors.

You will hold recognised electrical engineering qualification and ideally you will be trained in health & safety management to IOSH or NEBOSH level. You will have a recognised qualification in electrical engineering e.g.

HNC, degree or 18th edition certification and you will have good knowledge and understanding of plc systems. We are seeking a highly organised and effective leader who will maintain a visible presence around the plant.
