Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Mechanical Field Service Fitter based in Castleford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis. Summary of the Electrical Mechanical Field Service Fitter role Salary: £40,000 Location: Castleford Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours Monday – Thursday 8.15am-4.45pm, Friday 8.15am-1.45pm Responsibilities of the Electrical Mechanical Field Service Fitter De-contamination of pump units Dismantling, inspection and reporting of pump unit condition Assemble and test pumps Identify spare parts required from drawings Mechanical measurement of components and critical dimensions Diesel pump set repair and maintenance Requirements for a successful Electrical Mechanical Field Service Fitter Experience in working with Diesel Pump Sets CSCS card – Desirable Confined Space training – Desirable Overhead crane, lifting and slinging operator license – Desirable Water Hygiene qualified – Desirable Full driving license Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship or similar or time served Experience in Electric Motor & Control Equipment Strong fault-finding skills, ideally with pumps and rotating equipment Ability to read and understand engineering drawings About Allstaff Recruitment We’re an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
