Electrical Test Engineer

Electrical Test Enginer Droitwich Permanent Up to £38,000 + Benefits Omega is partnering with a well-established and market leading manufacturing business in Droitwich to recruit an Electrical Test Engineer . This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on electrical professional to join a growing engineering team, taking responsibility for the testing, commissioning and sign-off of complex electrical and control systems before customer delivery.

Working within a modern manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in ensuring all equipment meets the highest standards of quality, performance and safety. Key Responsibilities Carry out functional testing, inspection and commissioning of manufactured equipment Connect and integrate electrical, mechanical and water systems for testing purposes Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, including PLC-related issues Operate a range of electrical test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and power analysers Test and commission high-voltage electrical systems safely and effectively Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues Complete all testing documentation and quality records accurately Approve and sign off equipment prior to customer dispatch Support continuous improvement activities within the test function About You To be successful in this role, you will have: HNC, HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering Previous experience within an electrical test, commissioning or manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of single-phase, three-phase and high-power electrical systems Experience fault-finding on live electrical equipment Understanding of analogue and digital electronics Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards A practical, hands-on approach with good mechanical aptitude Flexibility to undertake occasional international travel when required What's on Offer?
