Electrician

Job Title: Site Electrician Location: Shoreham-by-Sea The Opportunity We're looking for a Skilled Site Electrician to support electrical maintenance and repairs across a busy industrial environment within a company that specialises in the the manufacture of high-performance automotive engines and other products.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build on their industrial experience while working across a range of electrical and control systems. What You'll Be Doing Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs Support site operations to ensure systems run safely and efficiently Work across a range of electrical and control systems Maintain compliance with health & safety standards Complete reports and documentation using computer systems Support occasional out-of-hours work when required What You'll Need to Succeed

Essential

Experience as an electrician in an industrial or commercial environment - purely experience in residential electrics cannot be considered 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills Good understanding of health & safety practices Basic computer skills for reporting

Desirable

Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391 or equivalent) Experience with three-phase motors and control systems Background in facilities or multi-site environments IPAF, PASMA or working at height certifications What We're Looking For Practical, solutions-focused mindset Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Strong communication and teamwork skills Flexible approach, including working at height when needed Commitment to maintaining safe working practices
