Electrician

Your new company A specialist electrical contractor delivering compliance, testing, and maintenance services across social housing and residential properties. With a growing portfolio of contracts and a strong pipeline of EICR programmes, the company is seeking experienced self-employed electricians to support ongoing electrical safety and compliance work.

Your new role We are currently recruiting for an EICR Electrician to carry out electrical inspection, testing, and remedial works across domestic and social housing properties. Working through your own Ltd Company, you will be responsible for completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), identifying defects, producing accurate certification, and carrying out associated remedial works where required. This is an excellent opportunity for electricians seeking consistent contract work and excellent earning potential.

What you'll need to succeed NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. City & Guilds 2391, 2394/2395, or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification. Proven experience carrying out EICRs within domestic or social housing environments. Strong fault-finding and remedial skills. Own testing equipment and tools. Full UK Driving Licence. Ability to operate through your own Ltd Company. Public Liability Insurance and relevant accreditations.
