Electrician – Renewable Energy Location: North London and surrounding areas Salary: £50,000–£55,000 DOE + Benefits £70,000 OTE Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: Monday–Friday An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrician to join a well-established, family-run renewable energy company with over 20 years of industry experience, specialising in Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems and EV Charging.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician looking to develop their skills within the growing renewable energy sector. Previous renewable experience is beneficial but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain and repair renewable energy systems and associated electrical equipment. Carry out electrical fault-finding, diagnostics and remedial works. Work across Solar PV, EV Charging and Air Source Heat Pump systems.

Complete electrical testing, inspections and certification in line with current regulations. Identify additional works and provide technical reports. Maintain accurate job records and certification. Deliver excellent customer service across residential, commercial and educational sites.

Requirements

NVQ Level 3, AM2, 2391, 18th Edition and a recognised renewable energy qualification/certificate. Gold Card (desirable) Strong electrical installation and fault-finding experience. Full UK driving licence. Clean DBS or willingness to undergo a check.

Renewable qualifications are advantageous but not essential. What's on Offer: OTE £70k+ 38-hour working week, Monday–Friday. Performance-related bonus and overtime opportunities. Company van, fuel card and mobile phone. 33 days' holiday, including bank holidays, plus your birthday off.
