Job Description ElectricianCaterpillar is recruiting qualified Electricians to join its manufacturing facility in Larne, supporting the assembly and wiring of generator sets, enclosures and associated power generation equipment.
This is an opportunity to join a global engineering manufacturer, working within a skilled production environment on a four-day working week with competitive rates of pay and overtime available. Pay: Day Shift: £17.95 per hourNight Shift: £23.93 per hourOvertime (first 10 hours): £26.93 per hourOvertime (after 10 hours): £35.90 per hourHours37.5 hours per week (Monday - Thursday)Days: Monday: 07:00 - 17:15Tuesday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:45Nights: Monday: 21:00 - 07:15Tuesday - Thursday: 21:00 - 06:45Candidates must be flexible to work both day and night shifts.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret electrical schematics and assembly drawingsWire and install electrical systems on generator sets and enclosuresCarry out electrical terminations and panel connectionsInstall cable trays, ladder racks and conduit systemsRoute and terminate cables using appropriate crimping techniquesUse a range of hand tools, power tools and electrical equipmentReport equipment faults where identifiedWork to Caterpillars quality, safety and 5S standardsEssential
Requirements
