Job Description Electrician (Contract)LocationBracknell Town Centre (5-minute walk from Bracknell Station)Rate£280 - £300 per dayOvertimeSaturday: 1.5x rateSunday: 2x rateHours7:30am to 5:00pmDuration2-3 months (potentially longer dependent on project requirements)Project OverviewWe are seeking experienced Electricians to support the delivery of the Bracknell Market Street Redevelopment project.

The project is approaching a critical phase, with significant electrical works required to be completed before the end of September. Successful candidates will be able to integrate quickly into an established project team, work efficiently under direction, and contribute to achieving key programme milestones.

Scope of WorksCar Park InfrastructureInstallation and commissioning of lighting systemsInstallation of EV charging infrastructureCable installation, termination and testingFault finding and rectificationPublic Realm & Communal AreasInstallation of street lightingInstallation of signage power suppliesExternal containment and cabling worksTesting and energisation of completed systemsResidential ApartmentsFinal fix electrical installationsTesting and inspectionFault finding and snaggingEnergisation of approximately 20 residential apartmentsEssential RequirementsECS Gold Card (Required)17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Required)NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalentExperience working on commercial and residential projectsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawingsProven ability to work independently and within project teamsStrong awareness of Health & Safety requirementsPreferred QualificationsCity & Guilds 2391 Inspection & TestingExperience with EV charging installationsIPAF (advantageous)PASMA (advantageous)Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out installation works in accordance with project specificationsComplete testing, inspection and fault-finding activitiesEnsure all works are completed safely and to programme requirementsWork effectively under the direction of site managementMaintain high standards of workmanship and site housekeepingAccurately complete any required project documentationCommunicate effectively with supervisors, subcontractors and other tradesRequired DocumentationPassport2 x work referencesECS/JIB Gold CardCopies of relevant electrical certifications
