Job Description Electro-Mechanical Assembler Location: Chelmsford Job Type: Full-time Salary: £32,000 per annum We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our clients growing production team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in assembling electro-mechanical products, wiring, testing, and working from engineering drawings. You will be instrumental in producing high-quality products that meet both customer and company standards. Day-to-day of

the role

Assemble electro-mechanical products and sub-assemblies according to engineering specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions. Perform mechanical assembly using both hand and power tools.

Conduct cable preparation, crimping, soldering, and wiring activities. Carry out functional testing and inspection of completed assemblies to ensure quality. Identify and report any assembly issues, defects, or non-conformances.

Maintain accurate production records and documentation. Ensure compliance with all quality, health & safety, and company procedures. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure delivery targets are met. Required Skills &

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, Production Technician, Assembly Technician, or a similar role. Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Experienced in wiring, crimping, cable assembly, and mechanical build.

Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail. Familiarity with standard assembly tools and measuring equipment. Strong commitment to quality and workmanship. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

Soldering experience, IPC or related assembly certifications, and experience in sectors like electronics manufacturing, industrial equipment, medical devices, aerospace, or automotive.
