Electronics Harness and Wireperson

Overview

In this role you will contribute to the manufacture of sub-assemblies and rack systems within a quality‑driven environment. You will work closely with the operations team to meet exacting cost and time targets, while upholding aerospace controls and a zero-defect culture. You’ll engage in continuous improvement and support a safety‑minded, collaborative factory atmosphere. This is a hands‑on position at TT Electronics’ Barnstaple site, offering scope to influence product quality and production efficiency within a respected aerospace segment.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed build instructions to high accuracy
• Produce to costed time targets
• Perform tasks within a Quality Accredited environment following General Manufacturing and Aerospace controls
• Maintain zero tolerance to defects
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Support a zero-harm culture

Key requirements

• Aerospace or similar industry experience
• Experience in low volume, high product mix, build-to-print environments and design-to-spec validation
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience with ERP/Shop booking systems
• Good numeracy and literacy, strong attention to detail
• Team player to meet schedules and deadlines
• IPC 610/620 accredited or Recognised equivalent (ESA/ECSS)
• Excellent communication
• Ability to thrive under pressure

• Lean manufacturing knowledge (desirable)
