The organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations and ensure the accurate and timely processing of employee-related data. This role offers exposure to a broad range of payroll activities and provides an excellent opportunity to further develop payroll and HR administration experience within a global business environment.
About the role
Support the delivery of payroll processes, ensuring employee data is accurately maintained and processed within agreed timelines. Prepare, review and validate payroll-related information, including employee lifecycle changes, variable payments, deductions and benefits data.
Maintain accurate records, process documentation and procedural guidance to support operational consistency. Perform data validation, reconciliations and reporting activities to help ensure accuracy and compliance. Respond to employee and stakeholder queries, providing timely and professional support.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure workforce changes are captured correctly and reflected in payroll processing. Support compliance with relevant statutory, regulatory and internal policy requirements. Assist with benefits and pension administration activities, including routine data checks and record maintenance.
Produce regular reports and management information to support operational and business requirements. Liaise with external service providers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and support service delivery. Contribute to periodic reporting, audit requests and year-end administrative activities.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiencies across payroll and related operations. Handle sensitive employee data in accordance with data protection and confidentiality requirements.
About you
Previous experience supporting payroll, HR operations or employee administration activities. Experience working with HR, payroll or workforce management systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive employee data accurately.
Good analytical and numerical skills, including experience working with spreadsheets and reports. Understanding of payroll processes, compliance requirements and data governance principles. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach to stakeholder support. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and with external providers. Experience supporting reconciliations, reporting or administrative processes within a business environment.
