The Bristol team comprises two Partners, a Senior Associate and dedicated support staff, forming part of a wider national Employment & HR practice operating across Bristol, Taunton, Manchester, Southampton and Birmingham.

Candidates must have achieved a minimum 2:1 at undergraduate level. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied, high quality caseload within a collaborative, ambitious and growing national practice, with strong support for progression, development and client exposure.

The RoleYou'll be responsible for advising on a broad mix of contentious and non contentious employment matters, including: Managing employment tribunal litigation from inception to final hearingHandling complex, high value contentious matters with strategic and technical challengeAdvising employer clients on day to day HR issues including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and discriminationPreparing contracts of employment, policies, handbooks and HR documentationDrafting and advising on settlement agreementsSupporting corporate transactions with employment related due diligenceAdvising on employment related data protection mattersManaging directions, disclosure exercises and witness statement preparationActing for corporate employers, senior executives and occasional claimantsContributing to business development, seminars, networking and drafting guidance/articlesWorking closely with Partners and benefiting from the support of a larger national teamYou will have significant influence over how your expertise develops, with strong encouragement to build your profile, deepen your specialism and take on increasing responsibility.
