Employment Solicitor/Barrister 2 – 4 & 5 years’ PQE/Call LONDON

Large commercial law firm in London is seeking to recruit two Employment Solicitors or Barristers – one of 2 to 4 and the other of 5 or more years’ PQE/Call. The team acts for a range of market leading clients across the financial services, healthcare and commercial sectors.
They have a strong reputation in the London market, acting for a stable of significant financial services clients and household name corporates as well as being a market leader in the public and independent health sectors.
Key responsibilities include
- undertaking a busy and varied workload of employment matters advising all types of employers, with an emphasis on our financial services sector clients
- working on complex discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract litigation (Employment Tribunal and High Court) under appropriate supervision
- assisting on non-contentious projects including restructures (redundancy and TUPE) in the UK and across multiple jurisdictions
- general employment advice
taking an active role in supervising the work of and assisting in the development of trainees and paralegals. The successful candidates will also be expected to take part in marketing, networking and other business development activities and initiatives in order to maintain and develop work from existing clients and potential clients.
This includes assisting with client seminars and delivering training. Applicants must have experience of working on tribunal claims and other contentious matters.
