Overview

In this role you will support Ocados Customer Fulfilment Centre in Bicester by maintaining and improving high‑tech automation. You act as the primary technical contact to resolve critical issues and keep operations running smoothly through proactive maintenance. You’ll work with conveyors, lifts and cranes within a 24/7, high‑pace environment, contributing to the reliability and performance of our Robotic/AI‑driven platform. Responsibilities

• Serve as principal point of contact for critical technical issues at the site
• Drive proactive maintenance and improvement works to minimise downtime
• Maintain and troubleshoot complex machinery including conveyors, lifts and cranes
• Support a 24/7 operation with 12‑hour shift patterns across days, nights and weekends

Key requirements

• 5+ years engineering experience
• Level 3 qualification or engineering degree
• FMCG background preferred
