Overview My client is a specialist manufacturer and they are looking for an Engineering Manager to join their team in the Kidderminster area on a permanent basis. Base pay range Salary - £45,000- £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience Type: Permanent Responsibilities Leading and developing the design team Managing the delivery of engineering tasks / communicating with vendors and partners Always driving continuous improvement in the department Directly managing reports, setting KPI’s and carrying out reviews and training as required Design and detail drawings using 3D CAD software Supporting the other platform design teams as necessary through collaboration with other colleagues Ensuring all work meets the relevant standards Ensuring compliance with ISO standards Qualifications Experience in a similar Design Manager/ Engineering Manager role previously Degree qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering Proficiency with using SolidWorks and Vault or similar Previous exposure to using MS Project would be ideal Strong leadership skills Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written Application If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
