Keep Production Moving. Are you an experienced Engineering Shift Team Leader who enjoys being hands-on and making a real difference on the production floor? Join our busy Engineering team at Tewkesbury Depot , where you'll play a key role in keeping our production and distribution operations running safely, efficiently and reliably.
Working alongside Engineers and Engineering Leads, you'll provide day-to-day leadership, solve equipment issues and ensure planned maintenance is delivered to a high standard. What You'll Be Doing Supporting the Engineering Manager to achieve departmental and site objectives.
Leading, supervising and developing a team of Engineers, making the most of individual skills and experience. Coordinating and delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules. Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs and testing on electrical and mechanical plant and equipment.
Leading the effective fault-finding and resolution of issues on high-speed automated machinery. Ensuring engineering paperwork, records and compliance requirements are completed accurately. Supporting and mentoring Apprentices as they develop their engineering skills.
Deputising for the Engineering Manager when required and providing engineering cover where needed. Working collaboratively with Production and Distribution teams to minimise downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
Participating in the equipment breakdown call-out rota. What We're Looking For We're looking for a confident and motivated engineering professional who can lead from the front and remain calm when priorities change. You'll need: A minimum of an electrical-based apprenticeship qualification – essential.
Experience working with high-speed machinery in an FMCG or similar production environment – essential. Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Hands-on experience with automated machinery. Previous supervisory or people-management experience. A proactive, self-motiv...
