ENGINEERING TEAM LEADER Job Title: Engineering Team Leader Location: Wrexham Salary: Up to £54,000 Shift: 4 on 4 off – 2 Days / 2 Nights (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am) Job Role of the Engineering Team Leader A well-established FMCG manufacturer in Wrexham is looking for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join its engineering department.

This is a hands-on leadership position within a busy production environment, overseeing a team of Maintenance Engineers and ensuring machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently. You'll be responsible for coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, supporting complex breakdowns and driving improvements in equipment reliability.

Alongside day-to-day engineering activities, you'll play a key role in developing the team, maintaining engineering standards and working closely with production to minimise downtime. Sector – FMCG Manufacturing Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Engineering Team Leader Previous engineering leadership or supervisory experience.

Multi-skilled maintenance background. Manufacturing maintenance experience. Level 3 Engineering qualification (or equivalent). Requirements of the Engineering Team Leader Electrical and mechanical fault finding. Planned and reactive maintenance.

PLC fault finding. Engineering team management and development. Maintenance planning and coordination. Health & Safety knowledge. Desirable Requirements of the Engineering Team Leader FMCG manufacturing experience. Experience working with automated production machinery.

Previous experience within a fast-paced production environment. The Engineering Team Leader will benefit from: Salary up to £54,000 . 4 on 4 off shift pattern (Days and Nights). Generous holiday allowance, increasing with service.
