Supportive leadership team focused on employee development Job Specification The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Team Leader to join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing site in Boston. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to step into leadership while remaining heavily involved in day-to-day engineering activities.
Unlike many Team Leader positions, this role is 80% hands-on engineering and 20% people management , meaning you'll still spend the majority of your time fault finding, repairing machinery, carrying out PPMs, and supporting production.
You'll lead a team of 2 engineers on shift, ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and driving continuous improvement across the site. This role offers a clear route into Maintenance Management for an ambitious engineer looking to progress their career.
