An academically successful Girls' school in Enfield requires a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join their supportive department from September on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful English Teacher will have a passion for literature and language and the ability to engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
We are looking for a committed English Teacher to contribute to the school's continued success. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging English Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Develop students' understanding and appreciation of English literature and language.
Prepare students for GCSE examinations in English Language and Literature. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive and timely feedback. Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and resources within the department.
Encourage a love of reading and writing across the school. Participate in extracurricular activities related to English. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English. Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire girls. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
