English Teacher – Full-Time - Sevenoaks Are you an inspiring English Teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people? We are recruiting for a dedicated English Teacher to join a supportive school in Sevenoaks working with pupils who require additional support to reach their full potential.
This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver engaging English lessons while helping students develop confidence, communication skills and a love of learning.
The Role
Plan and deliver creative, engaging English lessons tailored to individual learning needs. Differentiate teaching to support a range of learning abilities and communication styles. Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and the wider school team. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to maximise achievement. We're Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Experience teaching English at secondary level A passion for inclusive education Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Previous experience within an SEN setting is desirable but not essential
